Driving Cultural Change: Cyber Gamified Learning Unlocks Effective Policing

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, staying ahead in cybersecurity requires not only theoretical knowledge but practical, hands-on experience.

With this in mind, we are happy to be celebrating our second collaboration anniversary with Brecon-based start-up company, SudoCyber.  

This partnership delivers a practical learning and development tool for the National Police Chief Council (NPCC) and supports Cyber Prevent and Cyber Choices across the UK in their diversion from cyber criminality toward lawful opportunities within the cyber security industry. With 15,000 ‘labs’ completed by over 800 active registered police users, it is a great success. 

SudoCyber has transformed the way cybersecurity knowledge and skills are acquired and developed by creating an immersive, gamified learning platform with fun and effectiveness at its heart. The highly versatile SudoRange platform empowers learners at all skill levels to develop and test their cybersecurity skills in a safe and controlled environment.  Learners choose from a range of topics, difficulty levels, and lab types to tackle real-world cybersecurity complexities in pseudo real-world environments following the ‘learn, practice, compete’ principles. 

SudoCyber also provides bespoke courses which are ideal for individuals and teams with specific needs, including custom software and hardware environments. 

This is a significant achievement. We are incredibly proud of this solid partnership that continues to develop and deliver meaningful, long-term change and impact. With the continued dedication of all involved, we are confident that this programme will significantly enhance cyber understanding across UK forces and cybersecurity policing operations.
